Mrs. Katureebe Kaburungi Bernadette, Chairperson, Dairy Development Authority, Ministry of Agri, AH & Fisheries, Government of Uganda along with a four member delegation visited Amul on July 30th 2013 for an exposure visit. They wanted to study the functioning, operations and management of Amul. They were briefed about the journey of Amul and visited the Dairy Plant. They were also taken around Dr. Kurien's Award Gallery. They were impressed with the co-operative structure; scale of operations and the benefits co-operative delivers to farmers.
