Mr. Showkat Aijaz Bhat, Additional Secretary- Finance, Govt. of J&K visited Amul on June 25th 2013. He was accompanied by Dr. Shamim Ahmad Wani, Deputy Commissioner of Stamps, Kashmir Division and Mr. Rajesh Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Stamps, Jammu Division along with Mr. Sanjay Shah, Chief Inspector of Stamps, Gujarat State & Mr. Himanshu Shah, Assistant Manager, E-stamping Department, Gujarat State. They were briefed about the Amul model and the various technologies that are practised by Amul at all the levels. They were impressed by the Anand Pattern and its effectiveness. They also visited the Award Gallery of Dr. Kurien.

Mr. Showkat Aijaz Bhat: Marvellous culmination of co-operative movement possible only due to dedication and motivation. Eye opener for other states to follow the model. DR. Shamim Ahmad Wani: It is wonderfully conceived plant with co-operation of persons involved at all levels of its operation. The experiment being a success is worth emulating. Mr. Rajesh Sharma: The experience of visiting was like a pilgrimage to a temple of modern India. It has opened our eyes, and broadened our vision, which will help us in our duties and implementation of similar tasks, if ever entrusted.
