Shri. Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra, IAS, Chairman, OMFED & Secretary, Fisheries & Animal Resources Department, Govt. Of Odisha visited Amul on June 13th 2013 to understand the functioning of Amul. He was taken on a tour of the entire dairy operations, including Award Gallery of Dr Kurien who pioneered the while revolution in India. Shri Sanjeeb also had discussions with Senior Officials of Amul. He was quite inspired and impressed with the amount of work the cooperative has done for the farming community.

Impressions:

Visited the GCMMF Office, Amul Dairy & the museum. Was impressed with the works undertaken and it is greatly inspiring. I am happy to be working in this sector. Anyone who visits here would be motivated with the sheer magnitude of work done, being done & future possibility. The present management was also very humble & inspiring to me. Will always cherish my visit here & to Gujarat as well.
