Shri Dayanand R Mandrekar, Minister for Water Resources, Govt. of Goa visited Amul on May 8th 2013 along with Shri Subhash U. Phal Dessai, MLA, Sanguem Constituency, Goa and other Senior Officials from Water Resources Department of Goa. They wanted to study the functioning, operations and management of Amul and intend to replicate Amul model in Goa with a focus on community participation. They were briefed about the journey of Amul and visited the Dairy Plant. They also visited NDDB.
