Dr. Amit Vyas, MD Amul Dairy, delivered a keynote address at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Indian Federation of Animal Health Companies (INFAH INDIA), held at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.
Speaking on “Unlocking Productivity, Sustainability and Farmer Prosperity Through Digitalisation, Animal Health, Nutrition, and Innovation,” Dr. Vyas highlighted the transformative role of digitalisation, technology, animal health, nutrition and innovation in enhancing livestock productivity, strengthening sustainability and improving the economic well-being of dairy farmers.
He emphasised the importance of leveraging digital technologies, data-driven decision-making, advanced animal health interventions, scientific nutrition and innovative breeding practices to build a more productive, resilient and farmer-centric dairy ecosystem.
The Indian Federation of Animal Health Companies (INFAH), established in 2011, the apex non-profit industry body represents over 50 organisations across the animal health and nutrition sector, spanning livestock, poultry, aquaculture and companion animals. The Federation works towards strengthening policy and regulatory frameworks, promoting ethical business practices, fostering research and innovation, and facilitating global alignment across the animal health industry.
