During their visit to the Dr. Verghese Kurien Memorial, the guests paid their respects to the visionary leaders who laid the foundation of India’s White Revolution. Brigadier S. K. Singh expressed his deep admiration and respect for Shri Tribhuvandas Patel for his selfless service and Dr. Verghese Kurien for his transformative vision and enduring contribution to India’s dairy sector. The delegation also had a fruitful interaction with Shri Shabhesinh Parmar, Chairman, Amul Dairy, and Dr. Amit Vyas, Managing Director, Amul Dairy, along with Shri A. R. Suva, District Registrar, Co-Operative Societies, Anand district, discussing how the Kaira District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union has been the foundation of the Amul movement, shaping one of the world’s most successful dairy cooperatives.
