A Proud Visit to Amul Dairy. Amul Dairy, Anand, had the honour of welcoming Lt. General Mukesh Chadha, AVSM, SM, VSM, Director General Supplies & Transport, on 10 August 2026. During his visit, Lt. General Mukesh Chadha expressed his long-standing desire to visit Amul Dairy, describing it as a privilege and a proud moment to finally experience the country’s most advanced milk plant. He appreciated the plant’s advanced processing systems and remarked that the visit was highly impressive. He highlighted the historic significance of the White Revolution, which began from this very region and went on to transform the dairy sector across the country. He described Amul’s cooperative model as one of India’s most successful stories, with valuable lessons that can be replicated across other sectors. He further appreciated how the model and processing systems benefit farmers in particular and the cooperative sector at large, while acknowledging the important contribution of NCFDI to the Indian Army, especially during challenging times.
