Amul Dairy had the honour of welcoming Shri Shankar Chaudhary Ji, Hon'ble Speaker, Gujarat Legislative Assembly and Chairman, Banas Dairy, to Amul Dairy's state-of-the-art animal breeding and livestock development facilities.He was warmly received by Shri Shabhesinh Parmar, Chairman, Amul Dairy, and Dr. Amit Vyas, Managing Director, Amul Dairy, in the esteemed presence of Shri Sangram Chaudhary, Managing Director, Banas Dairy, along with the Amul Veterinary Team. During the visit, Dr. Amit Vyas presented Amul Dairy's pioneering initiatives aimed at transforming livestock development and enhancing dairy farmers' prosperity. The discussions covered key areas including animal breeding, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), sexed semen technology, biogas procurement and utilization, soil analysis services, organic fertilizer production and marketing, and technology-driven extension services that are empowering dairy producers across Gujarat and beyond. The Hon'ble Speaker visited Asia's largest Sexed Semen Production Facility and the modern Bull Farm at Ode, where he witnessed the advanced breeding infrastructure and scientific management practices that are accelerating genetic improvement in indigenous cattle breeds. He also interacted with the technical teams to understand Amul Dairy's efforts in developing superior germplasm and promoting sustainable livestock development through innovation and precision technologies. Shri Shankarbhai Chaudhary Ji highly appreciated Amul Dairy's remarkable technological advancements, world-class infrastructure, and unwavering commitment to improving the productivity and livelihoods of dairy farmers. He commended the dedication of the Amul team in integrating science, technology, and sustainability to strengthen India's dairy sector. Emphasizing the importance of cooperative partnerships, he encouraged Amul Dairy and Banas Dairy to jointly undertake future initiatives in animal breeding, genetic improvement, and livestock development for the greater benefit of milk producers. As a gesture of continued collaboration, he also invited the Amul team to visit Banas Dairy to further strengthen technical cooperation and knowledge exchange. The visit reaffirmed the shared vision of both leading dairy cooperatives to leverage innovation, scientific excellence, and cooperative values in building a more sustainable, productive, and farmer-centric dairy ecosystem.
