A high-level delegation from Sri Lanka, led by Mr. Tilvin Silva, General Secretary, JVP, along with a nine-member team, visited Amul Dairy, Anand. The delegation was warmly received by Dr. Jayen Mehta, Managing Director, Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (Amul), Shri S. Rajeev, Executive Director, National Dairy Development Board, and Shri Manoj Mundhada, Head (IT & Operations), Amul Dairy. The visit began with an overview of Amul’s legacy and growth, followed by a guided tour of the plant facilities, where the delegation witnessed advanced automation, digitalization, and well-structured operational systems. The distinguished guest highly appreciated Amul’s cooperative model, noting its remarkable success in a global environment largely dominated by privately owned enterprises. He commended Amul’s vision, commitment, and sustained efforts in strengthening India’s dairy sector while ensuring nutrition for the nation.
