H.E. Dr. Zweli Mkhize, Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa visited Amul on October 17, 2012. He was accompanied by a 28 member delegation. The purpose of the visit was to understand the Amul Model of Cooperatives. Shri. Rahul Kumar, Managing Director, Amul Dairy received the guest and briefed about the activities of Amul. Dr Zweli had detailed discussion with Shri Rahul Kumar about replication of Amul Model in KwaZulu-Natal. The delegation was taken for a visit to the Dairy Plant and Dr Kurien’s Award Gallery. They were highly impressed by the achievements of Amul.
