We are delighted to share that Mrs. Ramaben Sanjaybhai Rabari, a dedicated woman dairy farmer of Amul Dairy from Gopalpura, Anand Taluka, was honoured with the “Best Woman Dairy Farmer” award by the Indian Dairy Association (West Zone). The recognition was conferred during the Two-day National Seminar on “Dairy Development in Goa – Opportunities and Challenges”, organized by the Indian Dairy Association (West Zone) in association with the Department of Animal Husbandry & Department of Cooperation, Government of Goa, The Goa State Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd. (Goa Dairy), and Sumul Dairy, held on November 7th–8th, 2025, at NIO Auditorium, CSIR–National Institute of Oceanography, North Goa. The award was presented by Shri Nilkant R. Halarnkar, Hon’ble Minister of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Government of Goa, in the esteemed presence of Dr. Rupinder Singh Sodhi, President, Indian Dairy Association, and other eminent dignitaries. The honour was received by Amul Dairy official on behalf of Mrs. Ramaben Sanjaybhai Rabari. This achievement stands as a proud moment for Amul Dairy, celebrating women’s empowerment, rural prosperity, and the enduring cooperative spirit that continues to strengthen India’s dairy sector.
