In 1946, with the guidance and inspiration of Sardar Patel, farmers of Kheda district started a historic movement with a sense of cooperation, and the same movement evolved as invaluable and became the basis of white revolution in India. Today, as Amul Dairy celebrates entering 80 glorious years of its establishment, we salute Sardar Patel's ideals who showed us the direction of unity, self-reliance and cooperation. The seed of cooperation by his visionary leadership today makes Amul a symbol of prosperous cooperation worldwide. On this auspicious occasion, on the occasion of Sardar Patel ji's birth anniversary and Amul dairy foundation day, Amul family paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by offering flowers.
