Shri V. Moorthy, Hon’ble Minister for Dairy Development, Government of Tamil Nadu visited Amul Dairy on February 21, 2012 to understand the success of “Amul Model or Anand Pattern” Dairy Cooperatives. He was accompanied by Shri Gangandeep Singh Bedi, Secretary (AHD&F) and Tamil Nadu Federation Senior Officials Shri MR Mohan, MD, Dr Subbaiyan, JMD, Shri Logidoss, DGM (Engg) and Shri P Tamilselvan, DGM (Marketing). The dignitaries were briefed on the entire activities of Amul and were also taken around the plant to show the operations. They also visited Cattle Feed Plant at Kanjari. The entire team was quite impressed with Amul Model and benefits Amul provides to the farmers.
