Shri. Alok Sharma, Chief Postmaster General, Gujarat visited Amul Dairy, Anand on June 3rd 2019 along with other delegates. They were briefed the Anand Pattern & various services given to farmers by Amul. He was impressed by the modern technology being used at Amul.

Impressions:

Visited along with the team of Gujarat Postal Circle as well as of India Post Payments Bank. The story of Amul is inspiring for every Indian. Today, seeing the plant and listening the story gave me Goosebumps. Amul is not just a commercial milk product company but a social movement as well as economic excellence model. IPPB and AMUL are working together for a financial solution for the farmers. I am sure that that the solution will provide the necessary benefit to the farmers and Department of Posts and IPPB would also become a part of Amul story.
