Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog visited Amul Dairy, Anand on March 12th 2019. He was accompanied by his wife Dr. Vineeta and Shri. Kashish Mittal, Additional Private Secretary, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog . They were briefed the Amul model and different activities carried out by the cooperative for the benefit of the millions of farmers. He was impressed by the business model of Amul and its impact on the economic development of the rural farmers.

Impressions:

I first met Dr. Kurien in 1984. I wanted to come to Amul/Anand since then. Finally I have seen this miracle that has been achieved. Hope this model is replicated across all other states and to the crops as well. Congratulations to the team.
