Visit of Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM,(Retd.), Hon'ble Governor of Uttarakhand. He was received by MD GCMMF and MD Amul, and was taken through the history of Amul. Hon'ble Governor was highly impressed with the way this milk cooperative has revolutionised the entire dairy industry and expressed that only such model can be helpful for farmers of other agriculture and allied industries. He also was very impressed with the latest advancements at Amul. He conveyed is best wishes to entire Amul team to continue the noble work and help other fields also to set up cooperatives, specially in Uttarakhand.

The art, science, craft, technology and management of connecting people, product and consumerism through revenue, sales, dividend and prosperity. There is something divine about Kaira Milk, Amul, Kurien and the White Revolution that emanated from Anand. Really wish that “Cooperative” aspect should be understood by People, Governance, Administration and everyone to deliver prosperity to the product & producer (including Farmers, Workers & Animals).
