Shri. Punamchand Parmar, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Medical services & Medical education, Department of health and family welfare, Government of Gujarat visited Amul Dairy, Anand. He was taken for a plant visit and briefed about the various activities of Amul.

Impressions:

A visit to the campus after 32 years is reviving the past memories. One man Shri. Tribhuvandas Patel & his manager Dr. V. Kurien changed the fate of millions. It was not an easy job to take on the British and to establish one’s own dairy but they did it and today it is serving millions. The village families live their life from the income of milk they deposit to the dairy. The agricultural income is used in attending bigger expenditures. My salute to them and the “Team Amul”
