MD. Raisul Alam Mondal, Secretary Incharge, Ministry of Fisheries & Livestock, Government of Bangladesh visited Amul Dairy, Anand for an exposure visit. He was accompanied by Dr. AKM Muniral, Jt. Secretary, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Govt. of Bangladesh along with Dr. Golam Rabbani, Dy. Project Director, Dr. Mohammed Amin, Project Director, Department of Livestock Services. They were briefed the Amul model before plant visit. The delegates were highly impressed by the functioning of cooperative system in milk procurement, processing and marketing and the way it has brought economic independence among the landless and marginal farmers of India. They also visited NDDB for understanding the Dairy sector of India.

Wonderful experiences we had to visit this noble workplace, which contributed a lot to the small farmers, gives a great direction to the cooperatives & ringing an economic value towards the national development. We are amazed to hear the evolution of Amul & its process system as well as beautiful marketing system. Thanks to those visionary leaders who inspired & works for the milk production, processing and marketing system and make it sustainable, reliable and praiseworthy.
